The Mindful Midwesterner is about living a mindful life in the Midwest.
What’s the “mindful life”?
At its core the mindful life is about being present in the moment – right here and right now. But it’s also about being present in our families, our communities and our planet. Often that shows up with practices like meditation, yoga, a plant-based diet and conscious consumerism.
Why the Midwest?
Well, I’ve lived most of my adult life in the Midwest, so there’s that. Also, the Midwest is fertile soil for a mindful lifestyle: a strong work ethic; an earthy spiritualism; a commitment to conservation and genuine compassion for family, neighbors and community.
Our hope is that Mindful Midwesterner will encourage your to be more present in your life and that that presence creates a positive impact in your family, community and the world.
